Two international airports - Hongqiao in the west and Pudong in the east -
links Shanghai with the rest of the world.
Spanning the whole of Changning District, the Yan’an Elevated Road joins
the Outer Ring Road to the west, linking the city with freeways to neighboring
provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang.
With Metro Lines 2 and 3 as well as traffic arteries such as Changning
Road, Hongqiao Road, Huashan Road, the Inner and Outer Ring roads, it’s easy to
get around from the District to many other districts in Shanghai.
The
Hongqiao Composite Transportation Hub, now the drawing board, will integrate
transport functions with the development of service industry, which is destined
to make the District a key link in the future development of such industry in
Shanghai.
