In the District are the Donghua University, East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai University of Engineering Science, Shanghai Institute of Ceramics and Shanghai Biology Research Institute. There are also key high schools of Shanghai No.3 Girls’ High School and the boarding Yan’an High School. In primary education, the Jiangwu Primary School and the No.1 Yuyuan Road Primary School are also the prestigious ones in Shanghai.
