Municipal Construction
Further ameliorate comprehensive traffic system
in the district. Main civil structure of four stations along the western segment
of Metro Line 2 has been finished. Tunnel excavation was completed between the
up line and the down line in segments of those stations and the track laying
began. New segments were built (extended) including Xietong Road segment (from
Xiehe Road to Songhong Road), Fuquan Road segment (from Beiqu Road to Tongxie
Road), Shuangliu Road segment (from Tianshan Road to Changning Road) and Quankou
Road segment (from Songhong Road to Fuquan Road).
Urban
Management
Actively push forward the urban management and
integrated renovation. Annually renovate 21 small municipal roads and 5
municipal roads. Combined with the project of tackling traffic congestion,
implement the renovation of roadway at Hongqiao Segment (from Gubei Road to Hu
Qing Ping Road), 11 bus bays and colorful stone pavement. Complete the “traffic
unblocking” project at 41 places. Changning central urban area ranked No.4 in
the comprehensive evaluation of urban appearance & environmental
sanitation.
Urban Informatization
Continuously deepen the construction of
e-government affairs. Create 11 new project links online. Establish the district
population database, the district economic information management system, and
the urban gridding management information system. Steadily push forward the
publicity of government information to promote daily work; there were 1743
pieces of news as publicized in the website of “Shanghai Changning” district,
with 29,615 visitors and 759 applications.
Noticeably improve the application
level of informatization. 10 neighbourhoods in the whole district had its own
community information management platform. 28 new informatizatrion-oriented
residential quarters were approved, already totaling 95 such residential
quarters. 14,800 residents participated in the training program on
“informatization for millions of families ”, and more than 57,000 residents have
been trained over the past three years. 14,400 social security smart cards were
issued and 7200 former cards were legally replaced
Urban Greening
Greening
construction covered 150,000m2, greening coverage rate was 29%, and per capita
public green land reached 5.9m2. Complete 25m green belts of the Beiqu Road
segment (from Songhong Road to Fuquan Road), landscape greenbelt of a segment
from Furong Road to Weining Road along the Suzhou River, and 11,000m2 green
belts of a segment from Changning Road to Beiqu Road and Lian Jing
Gang.
Environmental Protection and Management
Coal used in 19 stoves could
be substitute for clean energy. The district had 1 coal-combustion-free
neighbourhood, 12 quiet residential quarters, 41 environmental protection
residential quarters, 28 green enterprises, 5 environmental-friendly schools and
2 Shanghai green homes. The district was award Shanghai Environmental Protection
Model District, Shanghai Demonstration District of Fugitive Dust Pollution
Control and Model Prize of Promotion of the Second Three-year Plan of Action on
Environmental Protection in Shanghai.
