Shanghai Gubei "Golden City-road Cup" International Children's Street Painting Contest under the theme of Global Village · Love for World Expo, which was jointly sponsored by the district's preparation office for Expo, Hongqiao Area Expansion Office, and education bureau, was held at Golden City-road Plaza on May 30, Gubein New Area. The heads from Hongqiao Area Expansion Office and other departments were present and addressed at the opening ceremony. More than 240 Chinese and foreign kids from 23 countries and regions including China, the United States, Korea, and Malaysia competed their creative mind in the match. These kids made visible their expectation for the World Expo well on the drawing paper. According to the organizer, the contest final will be on June 6, where 15 awards will be given by professional painters.
