The official ceremony of Senegal National Pavilion Day was held at the Expo Center. Mamadou Ndiaye, Minister of Trade of Senegal, Jiang Yaoping, Vice Minister of Commerce of China and other officials delivered speeches at the ceremony. Xia Yongtai, Deputy District Party Chief, attended the ceremony. Artists from Senegal gave a West-African-style song and dance show at the ceremony. Audiences all feasted their eyes on the performances with unique national customs and in strong and distinctive rhythms. Residents from Tianshan Road Sub-district exchanged gifts with guests from Africa. It is learnt that staff of the District Reception Headquarters and Tianshan Road Sub-district carefully formulated the activity plan and trained the residents on foreign etiquette and manners to ensure the success of the activity.
